I don't know what to say any more about the YouTube Invalid Traffic penalties that are being handed to Creators. This will probably be my last video on the issue, but YouTube literally isn't helping. It makes no sense and it seems like random channels are being impacted for no real reason.
3 “INVALID TRAFFIC” QUESTIONS FOR YOUTUBE
1. What can a YouTube creator do to prevent invalid traffic on our channels when we aren’t responsible for it?
2. Why is YouTube penalizing their Creators and blaming their Creators for the invalid traffic on YouTube?
3. Why is YouTube not providing support on this issue? Why can’t we appeal and why does the invalid traffic notice disappear?

So if you want to kill someone’s youtube channel just send some spam traffic?
Really is amazing what is happening here on youtube.
I’ve seen some weird trends all year. I used PNUK to track niches and share channels didn’t think it would be for this.
But there’s a huge difference in big channel growth vs up and coming channels.
Obviously they will say there’s no algo tinkering and it’s all fair.
But I have a feeling now it is all tied to ad revenue. Safe channels being pumped as they know the ad revenue will be safe there.
Then start to pull rev from others to pay for it.
Huge ris in AI and shorts have to be part of it too.
But it definetly feels like a way less organic platform than it was.
Us geeks could rattle out videos and people would find them…
Anyway bugger all we can do for these channels I guess. Hopefully you get back to normal and they don’t say this is the new normal.
Im sorry to hear that you still have the invalid traffic bug. That must be so frustrating. I would suggest that anyone who enjoys the free Surfside PPC video at least join the membership (as I did). It shows a bit of support and Im sure it will help Corey out a lot. Hopefully, YouTube will get it sorted out soon.
What about Canva because that’s an untrusted 3rd party?
I’m starting to think that YouTube could be doing this so they don’t have to pay creators, but they can keep more profits from the ads themselves. They only seem to be targeting smaller to mid-sized channels. It’s a valid theory.
The way YT creator support is handling this, is absolutely appalling. No help, no solution, no fix, no transparency, no nothing. They just don’t care. Truly saddening.
Same for web adsense, even worse. Invalid click submit form does not work, it looks like a form without backend. I hope you fix this situation. Don’t be demoralized and keep it up! ❤
don’t be evil :p
