Absolutely brilliant video! Thank you so much for your insights. I do have a question. My company is a service-only company and does not engage customers at our warehouse. I have set up our GMB pages by choosing this option and merely entering the areas we serve. Does this put us at a disadvantage when trying to rank with Google Maps and Google Business Profile? Thank you kindly.

Many thanks Garett. As you initially set up your listing as a service area business i would suggest you stick with it. Although it is not proven that displaying an address may give you an edge, it would seem to be the case. However, i always recommend you stick to google’s guidelines to avoid any nasty surprises

Probably the most consistently helpful and descriptive YouTube channel there is when it comes to the tactics that really matter. There’s always a full explanation, so you’re not left scratching your head as to what should be done next.

To anyone looking for how to really do SEO – this is it. I’ve done the same exact things with great success for over ten years. Very well presented, very solid info. And he’s right that most agencies don’t want to do this manual work. It’s not magic and there are no tricks. It just takes work and a little knowledge. Well done sir!

I can’t thank you enough. I’m heading a marketing team for our food chain franchise company. We hire a SEO agency to do a SEO for our franchisees. We wasn’t that satisfy with the agency efforts and the end result. Therefore, I have decided to understand SEO myself better and here I am landed on your video. You made my life so much easy by providing detailed step to step guide in a short video. I have been cracking my head for past few days on the same topic but the information I gathered wasn’t that detailed and on point as yours. I can’t wait to try and test your guide. Thank you 🙏

I run $100,000 a month through Google ads. I have a team of three on my marketing. The best thing we could’ve done was hire a SEO manager in house. I can tell you after 20 years of doing this that using vendors are great for certain things. But when it comes to big things like SEO and PPC you do not use vendors. You’ll burn money you’ll burn through different vendors you’ll never be satisfied. Find a rockstar pay them well and you will reap the benefits for years. SEO isn’t a vendor service.

Thank you! Your videos are extremely informative. There is one question, I cannot find an answer to. Maybe you can help? I am managing a Google business profile in Germany and we would like to use both German and English text, such as for example in the description to speak to both German and international prospects. Are there any best practices for multi-language profiles? One very specific question in this context is, whether there is a trick to add a paragraph within the description, so we could add a German and English text? Google doesn’t appear to support formatting, but may there be a workaround? It would be amazing if you wanted to cover the multi-language profile topic in one of your videos. Many thanks for all your content!

Hi Alina. Google translates your google business profile based on the user profile viewing the listing, so lots of the listing like “category” for example will auto-translate when the searcher is a native English speaker. You can translate the business name yourself however if you think it would be useful. To do this, Find your business listing on Maps, switch the Maps interface to the language you wish to enter the business name. Click the Suggest an edit link in the information panel and select the Name field. There should be a second name field for the selected language, in addition to the original name field in the local language. Hope this helps

Your content, as always, is well-researched, well-organized, and well-delivered. I went from knowing zero about SEO to getting my wife’s small business to the top of local search in 9 months following many of the strategies that you suggest. The GMB Everywhere tool seems incredible, and I will download it as soon as it’s available again. Thank you!!

Thank you for this info – super helpful. Question: I set up a GMB for my company, got verified and starting asking customers for reviews. They are not populating to my reviews page even though my customers sent me screenshots of the reviews they wrote. Google’s response was: “Sometimes, our algorithms report and remove legitimate reviews. We cannot reinstate these reviews. These measures help ensure that reviews on Google properties are relevant, helpful, and trustworthy. This remains the same for all Business Profiles on Google, and we have no manual intervention over that.

Hence, unfortunately, there is no further action that we can take regarding that.”

The submitted reviews were not in any way a violation of Google’s policy an my customers have written reviews previously. Any ideas why this could be happening? Should I delete my profile and start over?

Thank you. Something must have happened as reviews posted yesterday started populating. The first few are not showing so I’m going to ask those clients to try again. Thanks so much 🙏🏽

Finally caught up. I can confirm how important reviews are to an online business. Not just the number of stars but how you deal with the reviews. Many business do not realise that they should reply to reviews, especially the one and two star ones.

Firstly a review is part of a conversation. Someone is talking to you. So reply to them. If you get a bad review how you deal with it can make or break your business. I know of a local food outlet which decided to attack one of its reviewers personally because he gave a poor review. That business is no longer in business. If they had apologised for his experience then asked for him to contact them privately to deal with it that would shown that they are a business which cares. That reflects well on the business. That means other customers are more likely to use your business. Yes a customer did not have a good time. But you are taking steps to resolve that problem.

As a quick tip. Each reply does not need to be more than three lines usually, unless you feel more needs to be added. And no stock phrases.

I stopped following other SEO gurus since I found your channel, Sir. I don’t want to follow fake gurus anymore. The tutorial is awesome as usual. Sir, I have a request please make a tutorial about INTER LINKING with practical implementation. If the tutorial is 1-hour long then it doesn’t matter cause it’s better to follow a single long video than follow 10 short videos. #Thanks.
