@Mr. C. i get it. The whole point of the video is to show you can find out what keywords your competitors rank for. While i appreciate ahrefs is not for a single business owner, a lot of the audience on my channel is also SEO professionals who may not know this is possible
@Ranking Academy That is true but the cost of AHREFS is too high (granted it is the goat) but Google is free.
It doesn’t tell you what keywords your competitors rank for on Google Maps

Now i do have a google account for the past 15 years maybe, but i prefer not to mix my existing google acct that i use for personal things, with my biz. Can i create a new google acct from scratch with my biz email and have this new acct just for my biz?

@Milena Koncar you can’t set up a google business profile without a google account but you can create a google account without using a gmail address but a biz address instead. Hope it makes sense
@Ranking Academy but how about a Google My Business profile? Can i use my biz email too to set it up? Cause the other day i was going thru the set up and it asked me for my gmail email, and i dont want to use a gmail email for my GMB, i want to use my biz email.
To clarify, im not talking about creating or setting up a NEW GOOGLE ACCOUNT from scratch. Im just talking about creating a Google Business Profile aka GMB

Small and medium customers usually don’t see a necessity to pay 890 € per year for such a small benefit. There are free ways to find out what competitors (try to) rank for. A page that is supposed to rank well should be either a part of the menu or linked on the home page. Look at the h1 and titles of these pages and you know what they try to rank for.
I agree. Having said that many people watching this channel are also SEO professionals who will be willing to tool up with something like ahrefs

One quick question — Once those keywords for Google Maps are discovered, then you try to use those keywords on the Google Business Profile in the descriptions? In other words, finding the missing keywords is 1/2 of the equation. Will it be possible to do a second video and show what to do with those keywords and how best to utilize them so that your list do reach the coveted 3-pack position on Google Map? Tks.
@Ranking Academy would it pay to use the services and create products from those service names? Then I could create a web page or content that refers back to those services and products.
Your description doesn’t have any impact on rankings. Use the keywords you have found as a basis to create content on your website.
