I hear what you saying but as a small or big advertiser we are already paying high cpc with Google ads… We shouldn’t be worrying about spying on competition… I even told google staff on the phone 🤳 the same thing ..
It can be really useful just to see what competitors your keywords are bidding on and what their ads and landing pages look like. The Ad Transparency center can be very helpful when you are researching other competitors that are similar to you.

It’s hitting a lot of channels, so I think it’s an Invalid Traffic/Bot Detection problem that YouTube has. I’m sure they will fix it in time, but the lack of clarity or help has been difficult. It seems like a YouTube Algorithm problem, so the support team can basically do nothing and that means creators can’t really do anything either.
Thank you very much! It’s been frustrating and it seems to have impacted a lot of Creators in the middle of August. It first hit my channel on July 3rd and the most frustrating thing is that YouTube isn’t really giving Creators real guidance on how to fix it or what’s actually happening on our channel that is triggering the penalty. I never want to come across as trying to be salesy through my YouTube videos, I prefer to hopefully create helpful videos and just monetize them with ads. The only reason I even created a Membership section was so I can keep publishing the PPC tutorials for free and then not having to worry if my ad revenue drops by 80% overnight. I really appreciate your comment though!
